Dr Edsel Arandia is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas, College of Medicine and Surgery. He took his Orthopedic residency training at the Philippine Orthopedic Center. Further honing his skills, he underwent subspecialty training in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Singapore General Hospital (Singapore) and further trained in Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement and Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Desert Orthopaedic Center in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. He is serving as a Medical Specialist III at the Philippine Orthopedic Center as the section head of Adult Joint Reconstruction Unit as well as Trauma III Service. Prof Dr Yixin Zhou is the chief physician of the Department of Orthopaedics at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, and the Past President (2023-2024) of Arthroplasty Society In Asia (ASIA). He specializes in knee/hip arthroplasty, femoral head necrosis, acetabular dysplasia, primary arthroplasty of hip/knee/ankle, and revision arthropathy. He was the first surgeon to perform bicompartmental partial knee replacement in China and focuses on the research of non-total arthroplasty and non-replacement surgery for osteoarthritis, and is also one of the most experienced surgeons in performing revision arthropathy. He established the "Circle-Point-Column" theory of complex acetabular reconstruction and invented the extended hip and knee fixation technique, and designed the corresponding prosthesis and surgical tools, which greatly improved the efficacy of hip and knee revision surgery.
