President Vietnamese Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Society
Prof Dr Tăng Hà Nam Anh, MD, PhD (b. 1974), is President of both the Vietnamese Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Society (VAAS) and the ASEAN Association for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA). He leads the Xương Khớp Việt® Clinic and is a recognized expert in arthroscopy and arthroplasty. He received specialized surgical training at Paris 13 University and completed fellowships in Thailand and the U.S., including work with Dr Stephen Burkhart in San Antonio. Prof Dr Tăng serves as a consultant for Arthrex and Microport and has contributed extensively to orthopedic literature, particularly in knee and shoulder surgery, including pioneering work in ACL repair and SuperPath hip replacement. His research has been presented at major international forums and published in high-impact journals such as Arthroscopy Techniques. Prof Dr Tăng is a leader in advancing minimally invasive techniques in joint surgery across Southeast Asia.
