Mr. Kunalan Ganthel is the Head of the Joint Replacement Unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He completed his arthroplasty fellowship under the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2016 and subsequently undertook advanced training in upper limb arthroplasty at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals, United Kingdom.
He currently serves as the National Head for Arthroplasty under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. His clinical practice encompasses primary and revision joint replacement surgeries, robotic-assisted arthroplasty, as well as the management of geriatric hip fractures and periprosthetic fractures.
