Professor Xinzhan Mao, MD, PhD, Chief Physician in Orthopaedics at the Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. His clinical expertise includes osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, complex primary hip and knee arthroplasty, and revision joint replacement. He holds leadership roles in national and provincial orthopaedic and osteoporosis societies and directs the Hunan Joint Replacement Quality Control Center and Hunan Bone Health Science Popularization Base. His research focuses on bone and joint disease, osteoporosis management and arthroplasty outcomes. He has led multiple national, provincial and industry-funded projects, and published more than 70 SCI-indexed and core journal articles to date.
