Dr. Hyuk-Soo Han earned his M.D. in 1997, later receiving his Ph.D. in Orthopedics from Seoul National University (SNU) in 2008. Since 2007, he has been with the SNU College of Medicine and SNU Hospital, where he currently serves as a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Stem Cell Biology, and Chief Surgeon of the Knee Section. Dr. Han has authored over 160 peer-reviewed international papers and holds multiple patents in mesenchymal stem cells and medical devices. His research focuses on osteoarthritis, joint preservation, robotic knee arthroplasty, and tissue engineering. He serves as a Deputy Editor for Knee Surgery & Related Research and Biomaterials Research, and as an Associate Editor for Clinics in Orthopedic Surgery and Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine.
