
MY, MalaysiaDr. Muhammad Rajaei Ahmad Mohd Zain is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Orthopaedics, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. He obtained his MBBS from Monash University, Australia, and his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. His clinical interests include primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty, adult joint reconstruction, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and musculoskeletal regenerative medicine. Dr. Rajaei has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and serves as Principal Investigator for several competitive national and international research grants focusing on osteoarthritis, extracellular vesicles, bone health, and arthroplasty. He is also a committee member of the SICOT Education Committee, contributing to international orthopaedic education and collaborative initiatives. Through his clinical practice, research, and educational activities, he is committed to advancing evidence-based arthroplasty and fostering regional and international collaboration in orthopaedic surgery.
