A/Prof Darren Tay is a senior consultant and Head of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Singapore General Hospital. After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1999 and completing his residency in 2009, he pursued a hip and knee arthroplasty fellowship in Southampton, UK.
He serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Services for the Singhealth Musculoskeletal Sciences Academic Clinical Program. He currently also chairs the Singapore Arthroplasty Society and is Vice President of the Asia Pacific Hip Society. Academically, he holds clinical and adjunct associate professorships at Duke-NUS, NUS Yong Loo Lin, and Lee Kong Chian medical schools.
