Prof Dr Lewis Chan is a highly experienced joint replacement surgeon and Co-Director of the Joint Replacement Centre at Gleneagles Hospital, Hong Kong. Renowned for his expertise in managing arthritic conditions, he specializes in primary, complex, and revision joint replacement surgeries. Prof Dr Chan is also recognized for his contributions to non-surgical management of knee osteoarthritis and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols. He currently serves as the President of the Asia-Pacific Hip Society (APHS) within the Asia-Pacific Orthopedic Association (APOA) and is the Past President of the Adult Joint Reconstruction Chapter of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association (HKOA). Since 2018, he has been a Faculty Member of AO Recon, an international organization dedicated to providing global education in arthroplasty.
